VIP Clients

Discretion is important for all clients, and even more so for those in the public eye. This is one of the reasons why VIP clients choose The Harley Consultancy.

Our service gives you priority when booking and also helps to protect your privacy and anonymity.

For example, we can arrange for you to use unmarked side entrances for entry and exit to our practices at Harley Street and the City of London. This means that you do not need to have contact with the reception staff or wait in the main reception.

Upon arrival at your appointment time, you will be greeted personally and taken to our consulting room.

Your personal details are safe with us. Any notes are kept securely with your consultant. No-one else has access to them and your name will not be not identifiable. We can even arrange for you to use a ‘decoy name’ in any communications with us, if you prefer.

Please do ask how your privacy needs can be accommodated when booking your first appointment.

Video Sessions

How can Video sessions help?

Like face to face counselling, online psychotherapy (video consultations via Skype or other online platforms such as Whatsapp or Facetime) can be an effective alternative to face to face sessions. Sometimes they are used alongside face-to-face consulations, at other times as a stand-alone facility.

Video consultations are particularly useful where a busy schedule, distance, transport issues or a physical condition makes it difficult to attend sessions.

How do Video Consultations work?

Video psychotherapy consultations are conducted either through Skype, Whatsapp or Facetime. These are all free for a basic level access.

Just like a face to face psychotherapy session, video consultations are arranged in advance for a specific date and time. Payment is made in advance. You can pay for one session at a time, or a batch of 3 or 6 sessions. For details of how to pay, please see the payments page.

You would also need to complete a short client details form to provide some basic information about yourself.

At the end of each consultation, we can book the next session, or series of sessions, if you wish.

Points to consider

You will need a reliable access to the internet or mobile data, and to make sure there will be no other distractions or interruptions during the consultation (eg other people or pets won’t interrupt or need your attention).

It is strongly recommended that you switch off your phone(s) and close down other computer applications that might distract you, such as email, social networking sites and other chat rooms).

Consultations are always confidential (with a few exceptions where safety seems at risk).

How to get started
Read the guidelines about how video sessions work and fill out a client details form.

We will then contact you about arranging the first session and payment in advance.
