Both 1 Harley Street and 12 Tokenhouse Yard are historic buildings, and unfortunately it is simply not possible to adapt them to provide level access to any of the consulting rooms.
Harley Street: There are a small number of steps between each of the two street entrances and the lift, and one further step on the top floor, where the consulting room is located. If this seems managable, please ask for an appointment. Should the lift be out of operation at any time, however, the session may not be able to go ahead.
These photographs may help to assess the practicality of attending. Please do feel free to ask for further details.
Harley Street entrance – daytime appointments
There is one small step between the street and reception. There are chairs to sit on whilst you wait.
There is a short corridor between reception and the lift lobby, with a few steps, as pictured.
The lift is big enough for 4 people.
Wigmore Street entrance – out of hours appointments
There are three steps from street level to the out of hours door. Entrance is gained by using the entryphone, which is about 4′ from the ground.
There are a further four steps from the street door to the entrance lobby.
Top Floor
On the top floor, there’s one step on the corridor to the consulting room.
The consulting room itself is level access.
There is a male and female toilet on the top floor very close to the consulting room, just after the corridor step. They are level access but fairly compact.
